Anecdotal evidence, but my French cars have given me fewer problems than German and Japanese cars.

I’ve always been a huge fan of the 204, 304 and 504, but only the 504 was ever sold here (I’m in Nova Scotia), so they are very hard to find....the 505 is growing on me though...if I ever saw one on sale around here for cheap (and preferably with a manual!), I may just have to pick it up! :)

I actually own a 205 (gti), 306 (convertible) and 406 (coupe). All of those would be legal in Canada as well as they’re >15 years old. Great cars, and reliable too.
